Horses have always been an integral part of my life. I have been everything from a horse-crazed little girl, a boarder, a working student, a competitive rider, and someone who just genuinely loves being part of a team that contributes to someone's success. I have always wondered if I could eventually turn my love of horses into a career... It wasn't until I groomed for an upper level eventing competitor that I realized *BINGO* this shoe fits!
In 2009 I jumped off the deep end. I packed my bags to go work for Leslie Law and Lesley Grant-Law. The following years I spent time working with Bobby and Danica Meyerhoff, Clark Montgomery, and Missy Miller. Working with these elite eventing professionals sharpened my skills and laid the foundation of my professional grooming career. However, I felt something was missing. I did not want to limit myself to only the upper echelon of equine sport, and set off on my own as a freelance groom.
Now, I love that I can groom for someone completing their first FEI competition one weekend, body clip foxhunters the next, and be available to farm sit for barn owners that need to go out of town for business somewhere in between.
